There are millions of families that are receiving assistance from the Federal Government but there are still funds left to be given out. The government wants to curb this crisis by implementing all different grant programs to help reduce personal debt or preventing further debt. In reducing the amount of debt that individuals and families have accrued, it will ease the financial burden and they will have more room for increased spending. Obama wants this chain reaction to happen as quickly as possible, and he realizes that the money will be returned back to the government eventually anyway, so it will be more of a benefit than loss. That will suit the successful applicants of these grants just fine.
Here's a run down of some of those programs available. There are small business grants for individuals or families that need help in starting or maintaining their business; low-come families can apply for assistance grants; home owners having trouble with mortgage payments have a mortgage forgiveness option available; and education scholarships are in abundance for those who cannot afford it themselves.
These grants are generally easy to apply for. There are different sets of rules for all of them, and different forms of course, but the debt relief office nearest to you will be able to help you with the forms, and will let you know what documents you need for whichever grant you choose to apply for. In relation to the education scholarships, you need to fill out the form and the administration office will be able to instruct you further. For any of these grants, this is the best time to apply while there are still a lot of funds available. You might not get the same chance again.
