The Nokia 6600i Slide Silver is a well crafted mobile phone which delivers on all counts. It has many features which are found on more expensive models. With the ability to conduct numerous tasks, the phone has already become a popular choice amongst the mobile phone community.

The phones 5 mega pixel camera operates at 2592 x 1944 pixels whilst offering auto focus and a dual LED flash. The camera takes effective images of good overall quality. The addition of a VGA quality secondary camera offers the ability to engage in video calls which are becoming increasingly popular.

The Nokia 6600i Slide Silver has a 2.2 inch TFT screen which can and does display 16 million colours at a pixel screen size of 240 x 320 pixels. The accelerometer sensor auto rotates images to their correct aspect for optimum viewing. The screen is excellent for viewing images and which is due to its ability to display a high number of colours and their variants.


The handset incorporates an MP3/MP4 player and FM stereo radio. The player plays a multitude of audio and video file types whilst the radio provides the means to access broadcasts from local and national radio stations, whilst on the move.

GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD are all including within this handset, which means there are multiple means of connectivity available to the user. As is common on most mobile phones, Blue tooth and microUSB are also provided for the ability to share files and synchronise with other devices.

The Silver Nokia 6600i Slide measures in at 93 mm x 45 mm wide and 14 mm thick. It weighs 110 grams. Flash Lite 3.0 and Nokia maps are also included within the package as is the phone ability to accept voice commands. The handset is an accomplished unit with a raft of features that engage its user into action. It has an appealing style which compliments its functionality.
