Certainly in this down economy, more people than ever are feeling pinched, if not desperate, and looking for ways to bring in more income. When investigators actually reply to work-at-home ads that seem to promise easy cash, they almost always conclude. As long as there are potential victims, there will be scams, so it pays to be on the alert.

For example

One site specifically guarantees it works or double your cash back that you spend up front. Apparently you can make $15 for every rebate processed. The site says you can method a rebate on an average time of 4-5 minutes making approximately $180 to $225. Are these legitimate?

I could tell the opportunity was a fake before I even read it. Why? Because it was sent by email. Let's use logic here. If you knew of a great, easy, guaranteed way to make cash, would you be emailing strangers to tell them about it? Of course not. Any business opportunity, medication, investment or product that comes to you by a spam email is automatically suspect. In fact, let's coin a new mantra: spam = scam.

So keep that in mind as you run in to so call job opportunities or magic systems claiming you’ll be making a lot of easy cash. Chances are it’s usually a ploy to get you in to their shady affiliate marketing work. Don’t invest a dime in someone trying to trick you. If it’s something that does spark your interest, be sure it’s a company that is honest and doesn’t exaggerate claims of income or success. Anything online that will make you decent cash will need time, energy, effort, persistence and guidance. It’s definitely not a matter of slapping down some cash and your financial woes will be solved.

By the way, these scams repeat themselves. So if the company you’re looking at has the name of data entry, typing, easy cash, instant, Google something or another in the address, then chances are it’s a company that should probably be avoided. If you’re questioning its legitimacy, then that’s called your instincts. That’s God’s small gift to you that helps you out of bad situations. Don’t ignore it because you’re desperate or frustrated. I promise you, you’ll pay more if you don’t listen to it.

Even with all of these warnings, the reality is lovely, honest opportunities do exist. Lovely luck in your quest to make cash from home!
