An over drinking spouse can put a strain on a marriage. How can I save my marriage from an over drinking spouse, can be answered pretty fast. Your drinking spouse has to save my marriage, but if you want to save my marriage, you have to help. Its never a good idea to try to have a rational conversation with someone that has had too much to drink, so you have to find a time when no drinking has been done.

It may take some doing to get the drinking spouse to agree that there is a problem. But, its a must if your going to save my marriage, because without agreeing that they have a problem, you wont get very far. You may need a third person to help, kind of an intervention, but not so dramatic that would cause more problems. If you think a third person would be helpful, a parent, or sibling would be the best option. But try to keep it as private as you can.

Embarrassment is not going to help your problem, your spouse has to feel comfortable in this very personal situation. Once your able to get your spouse to realize that their drinking is causing a problem with your marriage, you'll have to try to get to the reason for the over drinking. You might get a surprise to hear the reasons your spouse gives for the over drinking. It could be for a reason you would have never guessed.

If you've gotten this far, don't expect the over drinking to end just like that. Your spouse has to deal with the reasons for the over drinking, and that has to be taken care of first, whatever it is. This could be something easy, or it might be something that is being caused by someone else, and the drinking spouse over drinks to deal with it. Fix the problem that causes the over drinking, and my marriage will be saved. Trust, love and respect each other, and your marriage will last a life time.

About the Author
Occupation: Internet Marketer
I've been online for over 10 years trying to find an honest way to earn money. After being scammed many times, out of thousands of dollars, I started a website dealing with scams. After financial problems, I shut down my site, and began a blog with the main topic being to help everyone to avoid the stuff I went through. The articles on my site are all original and taken from my personal experiences. I also include some personal stories and lots of affiliate programs to help people make some money online. I'm always adding new stuff and also removing things that don't work out for me. All programs are not for everyone, something may not work for me but it may work for you. I never promote anything that is a known scam. If you ever find anything on my sit that you know for sure, is a scam, let me know and I'll research it again. If it is a scam, I will remove it asap. I only write articles that I personally have been scammed by. With the Internet being what it is, many times someone will say something is a scam, just to promote their own program against it. Visit my site often because I add and remove content on a regular basis.
