Your apartment stage is finished. Horrible, isnt it? Likely, its full of an assortment of emotions and periods of hate of your living situation, fun times with neighbors, and finally, the need to jettison out whether its to somewhere new, a different apartment, or a new home, its time to get out of there. Before you go, though, there is some friendships you should conclude before saying adios for the final time.
Network. Networking is so strong. Whether its for friends or for business, networking with your neighbors and friends made in the complex is something you should for sure do. At least make sure you are friends with them on Facebook or Myspace or Linkden, if not, get a phone number. The more amigos you have, the better! You would be surprised how frequently youll look back years from now and think I miss XYZ.
Clean up your spot. Leaving the apartment often ends in expletives of renters who forfeited their deposit and felt they were not worthy of it.. Its often hard to tell if youre getting taken advantage of or not, but either way, clean up your pad and make it look spotless. Dont give them a choice to grossly overcharge for something! Re-read your agreement and see what they expect back. Was there 2 keys and two garage door clickers? What in the room was theirs, and what did you buy yourself? Do you have an option to keep it? Make sense of all these things, and you get a walkthrough to see what problems they might have.
Throw a going away party. This is your last time in the shining light.. live it up! Invite your amigos, talk about the time that was, and be frivolous. You can not get evicted now, so you might as well live it up. Its also a good way to lock up friendships you formed in the last year and push them forward to the future.
