Credit cards are those little plastic cards which enable you to buy things on credit, which means you use now, and you pay later. It is a material proof of the account that you have with your local credit provider, in this case, your bank. Your credit card debt is the amount of credit you gain in a month, and you must eliminate credit card debt, or pay it off, on a monthly due. You receive a bill per month and it shows how much you owe and must pay, and in this case you must pay this immediately or you risk having fees for late payment and gain interest on payment. On the other hand you can opt to pay for it in small increments and you don't get any fees, just the interest, for doing this. If you don't pay it off, though, things will just get hard and you will have a hard time to reduce credit card debt, since most of the interest will pile up on other fees as well. This only causes your credit card debt to keep growing and growing generally because credit card interest rates are higher than any other loan/fee that you incur. What's more, is that monthly interest keep on adding to your current debt, until it leaves you with a whopping amount. Credit card debt elimination becomes almost an impossibility here, but if you pay the small increments the interest dissipates as well, helping you to reduce credit card debt. However miss one or two, and you'll find that your debt accumulates faster than you can say debt, and what was once a spectre of a debt turns into a monster. If you still cannot change your spending, fact is, your credit card debt rises even higher. And this is how the monster called credit card debt arises.
