One only has to open his or her e-mail account to find offers for debt relief. We are in the midst of an economic crisis. Fortunately President Obama is not sitting on his laurels, but has come out of the gate running.
Great controversy resides in the massive government spending. With the federal government bailing out big business and financial institutions, the average American is wondering when are we going to get a piece of the stimulus pie. Wonder no longer.

In addition to programs that directly help reduce debt, President Obama has also initiated programs that help fund higher education and training offering opportunity to better paying jobs, making families more financially stable.
The need for debt relief did not happen overnight. There is no quick fix to the problem, but with these programs and changes, the federal government if offering hope.
