What are biofuels?

Biofuels are fuels which are produced from dead biological material. What that exactly means is that materials that are now just a waste are being used in order to produce fuels. It's easy to conclude that this means that biofuels sources are practically endless.

At the moment, we are heavily depending on fossil fuels. However, their sources aren't endless. On the contrary, the Earth is running out of them. That means that we actually have to switch to biofuels, before it's too late. Fossil fuels are simply not enough for the whole world, forever.

Another very important thing that needs to be taken into account when talking about fuels is the environment. You have probably heard about ozone and the ozone holes in the atmosphere. They are created because there is too much of CO2 being released. Fossil fuels are the biggest producers of CO2, and all of it gets released into the atmosphere. When the ozone holes get created, the atmosphere gets damaged. Atmosphere is a very important layer, which protects us from the "bad" radiation of the Sun. If there wasn't no atmosphere, we would all get burned.

On the other hand, biofuels do not release CO2. Therefore, they are very good for the environment and many organizations that support the environment, also support biofuels, because they know that they don't release CO2 into the atmosphere.

There are many reasons why we should all switch to biofuels, but these two are the main ones.
