Always people find difficult to remember long urls as they contain the slash pages, session information, file extensions and so many other parameters. So the users can use this short and sweet URL’s where ever they like.

Redirection Used:
Many URL shortening services uses the 301-redirection of the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (Http) which redirects permanently to the original URL. This can be done to each and every webpage of your website. Most famous Search Engines consider only the 301 redirection.

Apart from this the registered user has the privilege to know the number of clicks for a particular short URL they have created. There are not many websites which has this feature for the shortened urls they provide. By using this facility the user can ascertain how useful are the links used for website promotion that can be in multi various websites like social networking sites or book marking sites.
