We often hear a statement from a lot of distributors who say they’re showing their MLM opportunities to a lot of people but they’re just not closing. We will share some thoughts with you that might help you increase your closing rate. There are usually three elements to a successful sell, when you are selling anything. If you get these three elements right you will be extremely successful in introducing your opportunity. These elements are the market, the medium and the message. The market is the person you are talking too. The best type of person to introduce your opportunity too is someone who‘s actually looking for a way to make extra income. For someone who is interested in starting their own business and they wanna enjoy the freedom of working for themselves. They might be tired of working of their corporate jobs or unsatisfied of the amount of income they’re making. Perhaps the person is just looking for a second income. If you’re talking to people who put up a lot of resistance then it usually assigned that you might just be talking to the wrong person. So if you’re not closing you might not be talking to the right person.



The second element is the medium. Medium is a means you’re using to find and talk to people. For instance, if you just emailing people about your MLM business and sending them to your replicated websites and you’re expecting them just to sign up on their own, you’ll probably be disappointed Or if you’re just sending out your company DVD to people over and over again expecting them to call you. You also might be disappointed in their response. We found that picking up the phone and talking to people or speaking to them face-to-face is the best medium for communicating the benefits of your opportunity.


The last element is the message. You can be using the right medium to communicate to the right market and not deliver the right message and still with disappointment. So we will give you some quick tips on how to talk to people about your MLM business opportunity. The best way to peek someone’s interest in your opportunity is simply to ask them a few questions. For instance if you ask someone if they are interested in making a second income or to keep their options open to looking at additional ways to make some extra money, that person will tell you whether or not they are good candidate for your opportunity. Don’t make the rookie mistake of just blurting out all the details of your product to your opportunity because that just turns people off. Let people identify and qualify themselves by asking simple questions. A great first question can get even the most skeptical people to link forward and ask for more information.



All three elements usually need to be right to successfully sign someone up on your opportunity. If you deliver the message right using the right medium but talking to the wrong person you won’t have much MLM success. Or if you’re talking to the right person using the right medium and something is wrong with your message, you also won’t have much success either. Look for people who are unsatisfied with their jobs or their income or people who just like to make a few extra dollars a month. By the way there are a lot of successful professionals who fall in to one of these categories. Second, the best way to contact people is either by calling them up or talking to them in person. You’ll find that your own rejection rate will go way down the more personal you get with them. And finally, learn how to ask the right questions to peek people’s interests. This is an important skill that will pay you dividends for years and years to come. Remember folks this business is very simple. To be successful in marketing MLM all you need to do is number one you need to start a friendship with someone new everyday. Number two invite someone new to hear your company story everyday. Number three follow up with someone that you've told that story too everyday and number four start teaching other people to do the same thing.
