Symptoms of Panic Attack - not something we associate with a pleasant experience. Why do these Symptoms occur for us in the first place?

While it may not seem too important, every little bit of knowledge on this topic may help. It may help to gain a little insight as to the potential causes.

There are a few common potential reasons that this could come about from. It could stem from a tragic or devastating event. This can range from the loss of a loved one, perhaps being in or near the scene of an accident, or it can even begin to settle in from constantly being around or watching negatively related things (whether it's the TV, Movies, or an Environment).

There is also the possibility that it could run in the family. Be sure to do a little research or ask some family about it.

By now we probably want to know a few ways in which we can Effectively Manage some of these Symptoms of Panic Attack - so how do we go about this?

1. One of the Symptoms associated with Panic Attacks is Short Breath or Hyperventilation. Learning some breathing techniques can help here (particularly Deep Breathing). Doing this can minimize this, and as a result it can help to prevent the feeling of being light headed.
2. Practice some form of Relaxation, or some exercise. This will help reduce stress levels, which in turn can potentially help to prevent some episodes of an attack occurring.
3. Learn more about Panic Attacks! While this may not always be obvious, Learning more about it will help you become aware of many things that you previously did not know about. A simple example is if you're aware that an attack can increase the heart rate, among other symptoms - not knowing about this could simply add to the fear, and thus increasing the intensity of the attack. For each bit you know, it can help to decrease the fear by a little - it adds up!

While these won't eliminate the Symptoms of Panic Attack, it can help manage, and even prevent some from happening.
