(The Undertaker) Mark’s career starts off with the wrestling in the USA Wrestling Association (USWA). The undertaker won the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship and USWA Texas Heavyweight Championship and during those years, Mark used several ring names: The DeadEnd, The Brutal Enforcer, The Captain, and Texas RedHot.
Mr Calaway (The Undertaker) had a short promotional glimpse from late 1988 until late 1995 in the National Wrestling Alliance's (NWA) by the Jim Braze Promotions. Then NWA turned into the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) during Mark’s time with them.
In the NWA Mark Calaway AKA the Undertake was known as "Big Easy" Mark Callous and wrestled as part of the Skyscrapers tag team along with "Dangerous" Dan Spivey and later as a singles wrestler. Mark’s most famous match in WCW was against Lex Luther for the NWA United States Wrestling Title at the 1990 Great American Dash, which he lost after Luther pinned him after a devastating clothesline finish. At the end of 1990s, WCW refused to renew Calaway's contract, and the Undertaker signed with Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation now know as the WWE.
