No one can deny the power of building an opt-in mailing list.
The benefits are extensive, and the rewards are reaped not only
financially, but in a sense of worth that someone appreciates
what you have to offer...and are willing to give you their e-mail
address for possible follow ups.

The question of how to build such a list is often asked with
answers that are not often that easy or "do-able". Give away a
free ad in your Ezine for each new subscriber? If subscribers are
your goal, and a lot of them, then that means your Ezine will be
filled with ads. Possibly, this could be called an "Adzine" :-)

I have discovered a way to garner e-mail addresses in a way that
has increased my subscriber list to 5,000 in a little over a year,
and most of these addresses did not come through a subscribe box,
or giving away free ads to new subscribers.

They came through the use of a very effective combination of
Javascript and HTML, and the "product" is called LeadSpinner.

After I installed this on my well-trafficked Virtual Postcard
site, my subscriber base began to explode, and is still doing so,
and with very few complaints. (Have YOU ever pleased everyone? :-)

When someone clicks on to my site, a popup box comes up asking
"permission" to have their visit logged, and added to our e-mail
list. The user can either click "OK" or "Cancel", and still gain
access to the site either way. If they click OK, their visit is
submitted via form to a page on the LeadSpinner site that is
available to me to view and receive the addresses each night.
I then copy and paste them into an e-mail processing program called
"Email Address Extract" which can be purchased inexpensively at
http://www.a1soft.com - You will wonder what you ever did without it.

The addresses are then added to my Ezine list, and growth happens.

By the way, the popup only happens one time, and will not popup
again, unless the browser is closed, and the user returns to the
site. The features are many, *and* it is simple to install. Be
sure to look at the FAQ's for all the answers.
