Like just about all webmasters, I have tried program after
program for building my site traffic. I found a few of
them really work, but most are a complete waste of time and
effort.

Have you tried any of those multi-level link exchange
programs? I've tried a ton of them. Only a handful of
them produced any traffic at all. In other words, the best
of them produced very modest results.

Now, if you are looking for "the key" to making your site
traffic explode, forget it. There is no single "key" to
success. But, if you are looking for the various means and
methods to make your hit counter spin, the information in
this report is one of those methods.

In building site traffic, it is important to rank high in
the search engine listings. We all know that some of the
large search engines rank a site based on its popularity.
The term "popularity" refers to how many other sites are
linked to your site.

Based on "popularity", a site with 1,000 other sites
linking to it would rank higher than a site with 10 other
sites linking to it. So the goal is to get other sites to
link to your site.

THE LAZY WAY:

The lazy way to get a lot of links is to join one of those
multi-level links exchanges. You simply join, download a
list of links, and put them on your site. All the other
members are supposed to do the same thing.

The problem with this method is that the major search
engines are now set up to detect these programs and they
are excluding them from their calculations. In some cases,
they are excluding sites that are using these programs. So,
using this lazy method of reciprocal linking is now counter
productive. It could actually get your entire site banned
from major search engines.

THE RIGHT WAY:

There is a way to build a large number of reciprocal links
with other sites--a way that will not get your site
banned from major search engines. It does not involve
joining any link exchange programs. It does involve doing
a little bit of work.

1. Build a list of web sites that you believe have
similar interests as your site.
2. Build a list of the webmasters e-mail addresses for
these sites.
3. Place a link to these sites on your site and then
e-mail them.
4. Notify them you have placed a link. to
them on your site.
5. Ask for a reciprocal link on their site.
6. Check their site later to see if your link
is there.
7. Delete the links from your site that have not placed
your link on thier site.

I know this sounds very involved. Actually, it is.
However, there is help available for free. I use a nifty
little program called Link Crafter. It does everything in
the list above automatically, including building the web
pages with the links on them. You simply define your
search, and fire up your modem. There is very little for
you to do after that.

Some of the webmasters you contact will not reply at all.
Some will reply that they do not wish to exchange links
with you. Some will be more than happy to link to your
site.

Using this method again and again will build a growing base
of sites that are linked to your site. These are
legitimate links from legitimate sites. This method of
building reciprocal links will not get your site banned
from the major search engines.

You need to understand that this method of building your
site's popularity will not change your search engine
ranking overnight. You will need to continue using this
method over and over in order to build a large base of
linked sites.

Even before your site popularity ranking begins to move
upward, you could experience a jump in the number of
visitor hits on your site. How? By getting one of the
large, very popular sites to link to you. If a site is
getting 50,000 hits per day, and they link to your site,
you could get a spillover from their traffic.

Building site traffic consists of many different components
and methods. For links to many of the best methods I have
found, check out the Webmaster's Service Center at:

So where can you get this Link Crafter program? From my
site, of course. It is shareware, but the shareware
version is so functional that you can accomplish all the
above tasks with it. And once you download it, be sure to
list my site among the others you are going to contact.
Place my link on your site, and I'll reciprocate!
