One good idea is to place a large towel underneath the box before you start packing. Fold each side of the towel up and tape it along the side of the box. Once you arrive at your destination and the box has been carried inside, undo the tape. You can then use the towel to drag the box without having to lift it.
Many people decide to leave heavy boxes to the professionals. You can hire people whose job is simply to unload your truck. This will eliminate any difficulties you might have with heavy items. If you decide to go with a company, it is best to clearly label the boxes and walk the movers through the house prior to the start of unloading.
