people give wedding favors as a way of saying "Thank You for
coming to my wedding." But they're all so expensive. I agree. So,
here are a few ideas to help the cost of wedding favors stay cheap
yet still look cute.
Choose a favor that has a similar theme as your wedding and then
just change the colors and you'll be able to make each look a little
different. Candles are a great way of doing this. Buy cheap candles
in all different colors and give them to each of your guest. If you
really want to, you could get them carved and then paint the
carved area different colors.
Another idea is personalized shot glass wedding favors. You can
find these for as cheap as $2.15 each for 150 of them. Fill them
with a couple Hershey's kisses and you'll be good to go.
Bookmarks are another great way for people to remember your
special day. You can even print them out from your home
computer. Maybe put a picture of you and your fianc¨¦e at the top
and your names and the date of your wedding. Print on ivory
paper and attach a black ribbon on top. Or change the colors
depending on the theme of your wedding. Whenever someone
reads a book, they can remember you and your special day. It also
makes them feel special to have been a part of it.
Another really cool idea is buying heart shaped wine stoppers in
different colors. You can even get them engraved, if you would like.
You can find these for around .75 on the internet.
Remember, wedding favors are not bridal party gifts. They are just
a little, easy way to say "Thank You" to your guest. They don't
need to be big. A bouquet of Hershey's or chocolates is plenty. Be
creative. There are cheap and easy wedding favors out there.
