Garlic, Love and the Internet...Wha???

I just made a great discovery! I was minding my own
business...just cruising along the CyberHighway...and my
mate yelled at me, "If I'm going to cook this great
dinner...get your CyberButt over here and peel the garlic!"
Wha???

The tone in her voice was ominous and foreboding, like the
storm blowing in from the Mediterranean. I'd better take a
break!

So...here I am...knife and fingernails at work peeling
garlic...several bulbs...we love garlic. This is a
brain-dead task. Rather be surfing CyberSpace...perhaps
another brain-dead activity... There must be more to life
than peeling garlic and surfing the Net... Boring...

There must be an upside to my miserable sentence...

As I peeled away at the garlic, I began to peel away at some
of my shortcomings...oh yeah...lots of 'em. I began to feel
the reason I'm doing this onerous task is I love my mate. I
was being given the opportunity to express my love. I began
to perceive each little clove of garlic I peeled exposed a
little bit of love I could send out to my mate. And the
kids. And others...friends and strangers...

This feels good...Or is it the garlic getting to me...

Business Application -- All too often we go through the
"smart" mechanics of marketing in a brain-dead
do-it-by-rote-adnauseum state. What would happen if every
time I write an article I put a little love-energy into it?
Every time I write an ad, I put a little love-energy into
it? Every time I send out my mailing list, I put a little
love-energy into it.... Hmmmmmm.........
