Organize to Overcome Obstacles
A Message from St. Mark
The "o" in "Money " means organize to overcome obstacles. While
reading the Scriptures one morning, this principle shot out from the
pages of the Bible from the book of St. Mark, chapter 6, and verses
31-44.
In this section, there is an accounting of how Jesus had compassion
on a large number of people who had come to him to hear his words.
Late in the day, the disciples suggested to Christ that they send the
people away so that they could find food and eat. Jesus had another
plan. His plan was to feed the people right then and there. He
inquired as to how much food they had on hand. Five loaves of bread
and two fishes was the reply.
We are familiar with the accounting of many of the miracles of
Christ. What happened next in this accounting astounded me! Before
Christ fed the people, He organized them!
That act showed me that before any miracle can take place, there must
be order. After the people were set in order, Christ blessed the
food, and filled the bellies of the people.
When we have challenges, it is important that we take the first step
in receiving our miracle. We must organize. Once we are organized,
we have a clear goal, become focused, and are able to recognize
opportunity. Our big challenges begin to pale in comparison to the
opportunities available when we organize. The seemingly small
resources we have become much more, when we start to live according
to the principles of God.
"And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments, and of the
fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand
men."
Organize to overcome obstacles!
