Beagle training can be a lot fun and challenging at the same time. Before the big day - the arrival of your family's latest member, you need to secure the necessary beagle training supplies as much as possible. These include:

Collar. A collar might be used for various purposes such as training, controlling a dog, walking, identification and even fashion. They come in various types; flat collar, slip collar, prong collar, flea collar and electronic collar. Choose which among these types is appropriate for your beagle's personality. Collars are often used with;

Leash. Leashes, just like collars, come in many varieties. A leash could be made of leather, nylon and some are even available in metal chains. Leashes range from a two-foot control length to a 35-foot retractable nylon.

Dog toys. There are lots of dog toys to choose from. When Fido loves chewing, then toys that can be thrown such as balls or rubber objects are ideal for him. Refrain from giving him sticks to chase after because the stick might break off and get stuck in the mouth or throat. Some dogs enjoy chewing, however, nobody wants to have everything and anything chewed into pieces. Chew toys are ideal when situation like this arise. Chew toys are usually made of strong, hard rubber for longevity.

Dog treats. Dog treats are vital in beagle training. They are used to motivate or encourage the dog to obey what you want. By using treats, teaching sit, stay, come and other tricks is easy.
