- When is Magnet needed?

When one mouse, keyboard and VGA monitor is needed to control different security system.

When more than one User Workstation is needed at the same location or in different locations.

If more than 32 DTS-1000 channels are required (DTS-1000 is the Magal video motion detection system).

When smart video matrix is required to switch many cameras to many videos monitors. Define a complex touring of the cameras between the monitors.

When complex graphics are required for drawing on the live video signal such as: time, date, camera names, alarm icons, tracking line, etc.

When integration between different security system is important such as: link between alarms and cameras, link between alarms and dry contact output (e.g., switch on light during alarms).


Manipulate large amounts of dry contacts I/O (inputs and outputs) and all the logic connections between them (and, or, timers, if-then, etc.).

When the application demands a control of many sites from any one of many locations.
