Joseph had a present from God to interpret dreams. One day Joseph interpreted a dream for Pharaoh and Pharaoh was so impressed that he made Joseph the number-two man in his state. When Joseph's family ran out of food in a famine, they wound up at his stoop on their knees, asking for food. And Joseph's dreams came to pass! Joseph's bros were scared when he said who he was.
But Joseph held no bitterness in his heart. He claimed,'You planned malevolent against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now-life for many peopleYou have little to fear ; I can look after you and your children.' ( Genesis 50:19-21 MSG ).
Joseph not only survived the instability surrounding him, he did well. And I suspect when you and I stay targeted on God, as Joseph did, instead of the circumstances in our lives, we may have what Joseph hadand we are able to find stability in the unstable world around us.
to paraphrase, you are asserting, use all that God has for you. Use anything that you can get your hands on that God has given. Everything that's's good, you said, comes from God. That's what the Bible recounted. I did not say it. God said it. That is's right. You see, it is not your words, it is the Word of God. That is's right. But people say, well I believe in medication but I do not believe in prayer. Or I have a belief in prayer, I do not believe in medication.
I think they're both wrong, Ken. That's's right because they have got to take the entire package. The whole loaf. Right. Who gave all of the doctors, the researchers, everyone that's's found all of the drugs, all the cures, the operations, who gave them the knowledge to do that in the first place? Where did it come from? Did the devil do it? According to the Bible he did not as the Bible claims the demon is going around as a roaring lion, you know
we have some need at the moment in the City of faith and I don't mind sharing it with you. I need to share it with you. We have got a special need here in the City of religion. We've opened to the poor and the needy, people who don't have any money, and I mean they are just flat broke. And we would like to be ready to take care of those folks.
