Transition? What's A Transition? Are you caught in a very difficult, intense period in your life that doesn't seem to ever end? Have you been experiencing loss after loss and nothing which worked before now works for you? Feeling confused, perplexed, even fearful of your future? Take heart...Great Joy is coming for you!
A Transition, for our purposes, is the lapse in time found between when one exits one stage and enters another. For the Body of Christ, as well as the unsaved world at large, there has been a "SHIFT". We have come from the previous season or dimension into another.
More exactly, we are going through a rather traumatic pause or interlude from the last season(s) - now waiting to enter the next, a new beginning. Change is here – for good or bad. Things will never be the same again. We are now well entering the best of times and the worse of times.
For some of you know, (if you are "following the Cloud", following God's timing, counsel, and purposes and submitted to the Divine Will), that many in the Body of Christ have been experiencing a very intense, painful, stressful, and confusing time reaching a crescendo of sorts particularly during the last few seasons or years, (the last 3-4 years to be exact). This has been spiritual warfare at a new level.
No area of our lives it seems has been left unstripped: our health has been effected to the point of death in some instances; our homesteads, finances, inheritance or businesses; our ministries and our relationships. Even the very hope itself of a having a future after everything which has been shaken from us has been violently taken. No field has been left untouched, yet we can be confident and know that it was God doing a removal so that He and only He can restore, then multiply - Hallelujah!
If you are now or have been experiencing these "pains and sorrows", please be comforted in knowing that your "season of sorrows" (or the "night of the soul" as others have named it), is nearing it's completion cycle and there is great joy coming for you in the morning - Great Joy! The last of the labor pains before the final thrush of the birthing process where everything you have prayed for, labored for and believed for, has come to it's culmination
- "the baby is here!"
If the above condition has not yet applied to you, then hold on and wait - at some point in your Christian walk it will. For He will shake everything that can be shaken (around you and in you), so that which cannot be shaken will remain.
For we live in an unshakable Kingdom.
So then, what times are these in which you find yourself? A time of transition; a time of confusion; a time of recession or depression; times of change; times of sorrow, loss, pain or the End-Times? Perhaps all of the above.
At any moment in this hour, there are individuals, families, communities and even entire countries experiencing some or all of the before mentioned above. What time is it for you at this moment?
If you are living in good times personally and spiritually, then be strengthened and prepared for the next season, because surely it will come. If you are going through a difficult time, then be encouraged because it will also have it's season and its close. And through it all, we learn that God uses the times and seasons in our lives to test us, train us, and prepare us for what is coming next.
One thing you can be sure of, whatever time you think it is for you, the Lord has a Plan for your life.
Throughout my Christian walk, a favorite life scripture for me has been: 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a prosperous future and a hope. Jeremiah 11:29 NAS
It is more than probable that God has put you right where you are at this moment, whatever the moment maybe. Hold on Beloved and trust Him. He will not fail you nor forsake you, for He has a Plan...
