000webhost (http://tinyurl.com/ygejujy) is a free web hosting service which provides loads of webhost features. E.g. you have access to mysql and you can create your own database for free.

If you don't have a domain name yet, you can register a free domain name through them and get it hosted there for free.

No banner ads will be displayed on your website, it doesn't indicate in any ways that your website is hosted for free

The only catch is they stealthily inject a script into the bottom of the code, you can find this little piece of code by clicking on view -> source button on the menu bar under the internet explorer window once your website is live. It usually hides in the bottom of the source code, these alien codes are very obvious if you coded your own website. And it is rather a nuisance to some people than something serious, because it's not a trojan or a virus, it's just for the 000webhost to collect your visitors' statistics. Apart from that, the host is reasonably reliable and has no data or bandwidth limit. Their website also looks pretty tidy and smart.

You don't have to pay a penny ever if you don't want to. But if you love fantastico, you will need to upgrade. Despite that you can still load fantastico programs through ftp to the server, the server won't reject no matter it's 64MB or what! You just won't have the luxury of one click installation, Back in the old days when I just started and when I was cheap, I used them to to host roundcube email client and phpBB, worked just as fine.

Their backend provider is hosting24(http://tinyurl.com/yzp6gyy), the upgrade cost $4.84 per month, for the customer support part they only provide live chat and email support. They claimed it to be inhouse support (native Americans, no outsourcing). Just bear in mind that the support ticketing system isn't as fancy as the big boys like justhost or hostgator.

All being said, a good point to start from.

Site up time: No contract no guarantee, but it's free

Site up time offers a free trial offer suppose you have one website to monitor: http://tinyurl.com/yhm9j2u

I use it for all my active websites, I can honestly say I stand behind it.

P.S. You will need to fill in the server location after registering at site up time, if you use 000webhost to get your feet wet, choose New York as the data vault location, it is said to be New Jersey, but pretty near. If you have any other questions, join their forum or email the webmaster, but they won't provide any technical advices or assitances.

You may use the web form on the website below if you want to ask me something, as long as it's not too time consuming, I will do my best to answer you.
