It's a fact that with a little thought you can cook a great dinner and you wont believe how little money it can take. The secret you see, is that you must use raw ingredients and be willing to be creative. Sound too good to be true? Then read on and see for yourself.

Raman noodle packages are possibly the most under rated and cheapest food that you can buy. For just 20 cents you have a great bowl of noodles in a hot savory broth. The problem though, is that so few people actually know how to prepare them for dinner.

Here's a great cheap dinner recipe that can be done with Top Ramen. Slice up some vegetables such as carrots and toss them in. Have you ever tried green lettuce cooked into a dish like this. Don't throw the bitter white core area of a head of lettuce out. Simply slice and cook it in with ramen noodles. Trust me, it wont be bitter.

Also you don't have to eat these types of noodles in the soup that they are recommended to be prepared in. Simply boil them up as usual then toss them into a strainer. The next step is to fry them in hot oil in a wok or large pan then serve them on a plate with chow mein style vegetables and meat over them.

Do remember that if you're not preparing them in soup, you can get by with only sprinkling a little of the flavor packet on them. Use the whole packet and they will end up being too salty. So next time you are pressed for time and simply want a cheap dinner, try dressing up simple ramen noodles this way.
