Hello friends, I'm really excited about article marketing. I wrote a short article a number of weeks ago introducing David Wood's tecniques on how to use article marketing to generate 30 to 50 leads per day. This article is to show you how to get started with article marketing right now.

Without a doubt article marketing is a powerhouse marketing tactic that will get you bak links and trafic to your blogs and lead capture pages. Pay close attention to your niche with strong keywords and backlinks you will see yoour blogs and websites get more exposure and get indexed higher in the search engines. It's the most cost effective way to to drive targeted organic visitors to your website. Anyone can write good article with good content, you do not have to be an expert.It just requires consistent effort to establish yourself as a leader and an authority in the industry you are focused on. Over time you will build trust with your following audience.


Once you write an article, there are many places where you can distribute your content online. You can spend time on the internet looking for high ranking article sharing website or you can have your article outsourced through article distribution sites. The 4 Step Article Marketing Formula

Step1 - Define Your Target Prospect: You need to be specific and focused about what you are writing. The more define and specific you are, the better you will be at attracting the target audience to your website. The more closely you can define your target audience or market, the more people will relate and follow your articles. Do not write and article aimed at pleasing everyone, you can fail on attracting anyone this way.


Here is a few list of questions that can help you define your target audience:

1. What obstacles are they facing?
2. What is their description of success?
3. What do the want out of life?
4. What are their personal and professional goals.
5. What do they do for a living?
6. What advertising tactic are they looking to learn?

Step 2 - Choose Your Keyword Phrase: Articles get indexed on search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN, so it is very important that you optimize each article with keyword phrases, also known as long-tailed keywords. Make the topic of your article using the keyword phrase relevant to your target audience. Very important not to over do it with keywords though.

Step 3- Choose an article subject: Choose a topic similar to the keyword phrase. One way to do this is by writting six challenges you had beforeto joining or getting started marketing your current product or business. Then share the solutions your current business or product offers. This give you six article topic you can write about.

5 Types of Articles:

1. A Training or How To Article (Like This One)
2. A Problem & Solution Article
3. A Review Article
4. A Story or Personal Experience Article
5. A Compare & Contrast Article

People reading your article will have the same concerns you had, and by addressing their concerns, they will feel that the article was written specifically for them.

Step 4 - Write Your Article: Article writing is easier than you think, and you should not worry about making it perfect. Make sure the article is informative, short, and entertaining. It might seem overwhelming in the beginning, but over time you will get better at it. Just sit down and start writing, and before you know it you will be writing articles in 30 minutes.

Here are some tips that can help:

1. Create a short list of 3-5 key point you want to cover in your article.
2. Explain each key point with 3-5 sentences.
3. The key points will be the first sentence of each paragraph.
4. The body will be the remaining 2-4 supporting sentences of your paragraph.

Very important not to pitch your product or opportunity through your article. It's purpose is not to "close a sale", it is just an informative tool that should compel your audience. If they like what the read they will click on your link on the resource box or bio on the bottom or your article. Believe me the process will take care
