If you suffer a strong headaches, this is not a joke

Let's say you have always suffered chronic headaches, but today was so bad that you barfed when you got up in the morning. You suffer from so many complicated symptoms that you have largely ignored your headache (one constant headache) but last night you probably said "This will be the death of me!"

You felt like you were being stabbed in the head with an icepick for days. Does this sound like a migraine: non-stop burning stinging and throbbing pain behind your eyes, in your temples?

Migraine is usually on one side of the head, but not always. Did your doc check you for stroke? If not, you might want to check to make sure that's not what it was. It sure sounds like migraine, but it's always better to be sure.

I don't really have much advice for you, except that you might think about seeing a neurologist if you're still with your family practice doctor. I did want to welcome you to the group and tell you that this is the best thing that has happened to me. I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful information and more importantly people that understand what you're going through.
