The success of any debt consolidation plan completely relies on whether you have the willpower to stick to it and not slip into bad habits like over-spending on your credit cards.

The most important thing to remember when you’re trying to mange your debts is to cut up your credit cards, except maybe one or two, which you only use when you really need to, and not towards luxury items.

Also remember to transfer as much debt as possible to the credit card with the lowest interest rate and always pay off more than the minimum each month.

If you do this you’ll be well on your way to becoming debt free.

If you ever feel like you need more help there are endless resources on the internet, and you have access to free impartial debt advice from firms such as Debt Line.
