The attempt to cash in on already popular brand name, Sony Ericsson hit gold with the launch of their 'Walkman' phones. It was only a matter of time when they incorporate their highly popular digital camera brand CyberShot to camera centric mobile phone. The Sony Ericsson K800i is the first CyberShot phone with 3G capabilities. The Sony Ericsson K800i is a simple candy-bar form, traditional square design, but very nicely finished. Its weight of 115 gm may tend to call it heavy, but the Sony Ericsson K800i is one of the lightest 3G phone available today. The lens cover at the back serves the dual purpose of protecting the camera as well as the activation key for it – the camera is activated as soon as you slide the lens cover.

The integrated camera of the Sony Ericsson K800i is of 3.2 mega pixel module. Much to all user's delight, it lives up to the CyberShot brand name. The manufacturer did not compromised for a cheap LED flash but settled for a full fledged automatic Xenon Flash. Powered with novel BestPic feature, auto-focus and 16x digital zoom the Sony Ericsson K800i gives you a perfect snap every time you hit the click button and print them instantly with any PictBridge compatible printer. The image stabilizer avoids shaky videos caused by movement of the hand so that you can record high quality footage for as long as you like.

A separate camera for video calling is included in the Sony Ericsson K800i. Watch the person you're calling on the large TFT screen with more than 262k colors – one of the best in business. Data download speed of up to 384 kbps lets you instantly download everything you want in the 64 Mb internal memory which can be further expanded by 1GB through external memory card. The Sony Ericsson K800i is truly a flagship product that ave broken many barriers to pave way for the future of mobile imaging.
