Only a few handset can match up the stir created during the launch of LG KG800, codenamed LG Chocolate. LG tested this handset in its home ground Korea where the LG Chocolate instantly captured a whopping 7 percent of the total market. The primary reason for such high popularity is the multiple award winning design of the LG Chocolate.

The slider is neatly packed in a glossy black surface that exudes quality. Hidden mirror effect of the screen and the 'invisible' touch-sensitive navigation key do not give away the identity of the phone. When you open the LG Chocolate in a smooth slide action, the TFT display lights up with more than 256k vibrant colours and the touch pad glows in red making it look like a mobile phone. The number pad has well differentiated keys that looks more like a chess board.

The LG Chocolate has an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera with built in flash and digital zoom but no autofocus. It produces decent photographs in all light conditions. With a dedicated camera key, the LG Chocolate is very handy to capture those sweet fleeting moments of life. Video recording in QCIF format is supported without any cap on time but on available memory.

The handset includes a media player that plays MP3, AAC and MPGE4 files. The sound quality – both in speaker and headphone is comparable to any music phones today. The user memory of 128 Mb is good enough to carry a few of your favourite tunes if nor all of them.

The LG Chocolate gives you triband GSM network support so is functional across five continents. The handset keeps you connected to the global village through GPRS powered mobile Internet. Access your emails or surf the web with WAP 2.0/xHTML browser.

The LG Chocolate is not about how well you can talk, its about how good you look while talking.
