Increasing debts and mounting interest can take away anyone's mental peace. Nobody calls for defaults and arrears; they happen because of unavoidable circumstances. Job loss, illness, accident, theft are some of reasons that can lead to bad credit. Many a time people take loans to pay off their earlier loans, but they actually end up multiplying their debts instead of getting rid of them. Recent study conducted by a financial website reveals that personal insolvencies owing to bad debts have increased considerably in the last one year. This has created alarms in the UK loan market. The high street banks proclaim that they'll start having stringent policies in terms of granting unsecured loans.

However, the market of debt consolidation loans is increasing with the increasing bad debts and so are the lenders in the UK loan market. Private and online lenders are not that strict in their rules and regulations when it comes to debt consolidation loans. So, people with bad credit have options open for availing loans. Adverse credit is of three levels. They are cited below:

I. Low adverse credit- If the credit score < 700
II. Medium adverse credit- If score < 600
III. Heavy adverse credit- If score < 500

*All on the scale of 800

While calculating the credit score, the lender takes all arrears, defaults, miss payments, late payments, CCJs and bankruptcy status into consideration. So, if you fall in any of the above-mentioned categories, you can take a debt consolidation loan, get rid of your multiple debts and improve your credit score as well.

If you have debts due to credit cards and store cards bills and other loans that have very high interest rates, you should apply for debt consolidation loans. The new loan, of a bigger amount, may have an APR far lesser than you are paying on other loans. So, this will help you save your monthly outgoings and manage your finances properly as well.
