C21 Communications, VoIP solution provider and exclusive distributor of TOPEX products in the UK, announces new additions to its
(Next Generation Network) solutions.
Recently TOPEX and StreamWIDE signed an agreement, accordingly to which, StreamWIDE will provide complementary NGN applications, enhancing TOPEX Next Generation Network offering.
The TOPEX NGN solutions are based on the TOPEX multiSwitch its
in conjunction with the TOPEX Media Gateway range allowing its clients to offer various IP telephony services.
Based on its patented streaming technology, StreamWIDE is bringing an entire portfolio of high level applications into C21 Communications NGN solutions: Unified Messaging, IP Centrex, state-of-the-art IVR, advanced voice value added services including Coloured Ring Back Tones.
With this move C21 is prepared to offer an increase in value and more market experience to its customers. C21 is offering the possibility to achieve all-in-one management and full technical integration of basic network features and value added NGN services.
Here are the highlights of most prominent NGN applications in Stream WIDE portfolio.
Innovative messaging functions easily introduced
StreamWIDE Messaging contains all unified functions to be integrated with email, web-mail, portals, and mobile networks. All functions can be turned on and off via service profiles, or user customized data, empowering end users and bringing gradually value at marketing rollout plan pace. All these features can co exist on a seamless, robust, and scalable architecture up to millions of users. Several customers have already demonstrated this ability to innovate at the right time, starting with a simple voicemail service, and gradually adding web interfaces, SMS notification, message waiting indication, video mail, and even TV based access to messages.
Interactive Voice Response
StreamWIDE Editor provides an easy to use development tool that will boost creativity and drastically reduce time to market. Our state-of-the-art service description environment enables fast deployment of any IVR application. IVR is made as easy to use as a dynamic web page: Prepaid services, account balance via IVR, call-centre IVR front-ends, info services, chat, ...
Dynamic content delivery
StreamWIDE Tones takes advantage of StreamWIDE Engine advance SIP functions to bring to the VOIP world the network features to manage the early media stage (ringing) and release the calls when the session is established. Since we can rely on powerful IT back-ends and XML interfaces, all features needed to deliver the right content at the right time are available. Our product has been developed to match the needs of content editors and dynamically adapt to their databases.
Unified Messaging and IP Centrex services
IP Centrex services are being marketed by alternative carriers to their business customers as an alternative to in-sourced PBX. Most of the value for end users, besides replacement of the existing phone set, is brought by new converged services. Messaging applications are key to these service packages for business customers: there are compulsory (since they usually were provided prior to the switch to Centrex by PBX or network) and crucial to end user availability.
VOIP technology for Next Generation Networks
StreamWIDE handles voice and video calls using SIP VOIP protocol. StreamWIDE servers both deal with the signalling stack and media (RTP) to answer or generate a call. StreamWIDE server is seen from the network as a user agent (SIP UA), media server or application server depending on the application. Consequently, any value added telephony application such as self-care access, presence, short code management, ring tones, can be delivered by regular Intel based hardware and controlled by powerful IT back-ends. This ability to develop new services is a key market differentiation on residential and IP Centrex markets. StreamWIDE brings the most efficient capabilities to your network to meet this challenge.
