The capital of Estonia, Tallinn is one of gorgeous gems of the Northern Europe. Located on the Gulf of Finland, opposite Helsinki, on Estonia's north coast to the Baltic Sea, Tallinn is a major Baltic port, and with the area of 158 sq km, 61 sq miles, it is the largest city of Estonia.

Tallinn was under the Livonian Knights (1346–1561) and Sweden (1561–1710). It formally ceded to Russia in 1721. Tallinn became the capital of independent Estonia in 1919. It was the capital of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic (1940–1991). The present Tallinn is a rail and highway junction, and industrial, commercial, cultural hub of Estonia. The city has made remarkable developments in the information technology sector in recent years, and Skype is one of the marvelous achievements.

Tallinn is divided into eight administrative districts naming Haabersti, Kesklinn, Kristiine, Lasnamäe, Mustamäe, Nõmme, Pirita, and Põhja-Tallinn. Estonian is the official language, but Russian, Finnish, English and German are also understood and widely spoken. The city population is comprised of Estonian (65%), Russian (28%), and Ukrainian (2.5%). The city is dominated by Lutheran (30%) religion followed by Orthodox (28%), and Catholic (3%); however 20 % of Estonians practice any religion.

The city experiences a fairly cold winter, a cool spring with little precipitation, a moderately warm summer and a long and rainy autumn. However, sometimes the summer temperature rises to around +30° C.

Tallinn is often dubbed as the “Prague of the North,” because of art, architecture and culture. The city is the essence of Estonian culture. The two old towns; Lower Town and Toompea, are the major attractions of the city of Tallinn. The city is stuffed with a number of fantastic edifices, museums, art galleries etc. The city’s cloak, embroidered with plentiful beads of natural scenic beauty, Lake Ülemiste, Lake Harku, and the river valley, makes it a fantastic tourist destination in the Baltic region.

The city is often counted among the fast flourishing economies of the world. The beauty and opulence of the city makes it a wonderful tourist destination attracting a large number of tourists. The city is particularly famous for being the heart of the Estonian nightlife culture. The city is widely known for its stag and hen party culture. It is the “sizzling” destination for the stag parties, stag nights, and stag weekends.

Tallinn offers one of the most vibrant nightlifes in the Baltic. The sparking jewel of Baltic is the nightlife partying capital of the North Europe. The city is personification of “Hedonisms” and “Epicureanism.” The city magnetizes tourists from all across Europe particularly from Britain. Tourists flock in the city to enjoy its vivacious nightlife and have wild weekends.

The best thing about the city is that it has plenty of pubs and bars to accommodate guests bulks of guests. Most of bars and pubs are constellated in the Old Town, and are mostly located at a stone’s throw from each other.

Tallinn is the city that seldom sleeps at night. The city gets bouncy by the midnight and goes on and on till wee hours. The city offers one of the finest clubs, pubs, bars, and restaurants that become extremely crowded with the carousing guests. Molly Malone’s on the Town Hall square is surely one of the best locations of them all. Some vibrant guests really prefer going for ever popular Nimega and Nimeta Bars. O’Malleys and Club Havana are really fine parallels to those offering the best nightlife opportunities. The Brit-run Café VS is another good option for classy night life where one can get a curry and a beer – plus some credible dance music.

The city’s nightlife has been featuring the London flavor trendy nightspots over the last few years. Pegasus is perhaps the classiest of the nightspots, and ever-popular R.I.F.F. and hot favorite Moskva offering excellent competition the best of the rivals. Basso (on Pikk street), Stereo (on Harju street) and Lounge 8, a.k.a Kaheksa, are some other nice options for peppy nightlife.

For the crowd preferring less formalistic night out, Depeche Mode bar is nice amusing spot. The fantastic bar in the Von Krahl theatre is nice amusing point for artists.

Midnight, after midnight is the perfect clubbing time in the city. The city offers a variety of clubs. Club Hollywood is really a nice place to enjoy winning, cheesy tunes, friendly atmosphere and drunk girls. Terrarium, near the port, and Venus club are nice options rivaling with each other for guests. The club, once for members only, BonBon is fine choice for the people looking for decorum in nightlife. The club offers pretty sophisticated music. Prive is the nice place for discerning clubbers. It offers a real night bashing atmosphere.

It’s very important to mention here that the “weekends” is best time to relish the nightlife of Tallinn. Sundays to Tuesdays can be rather disappointing for the crowd look forward to enjoy hot nightlife action in Tallinn.
