The Hexagon (L'Hexagone), France has a myriad of wonderful attractions for its visitors ranging from beaches to the skiing resorts of Alps. There are about 200 ski lifts, 100 blue runs, 145 red runs and 28 black runs and an area lift pass giving access to all of the skiing in the Three Valleys. There are excellent quality restaurants, both on the mountain and in the villages, and the wonderful Savoyade cuisine at Three Valleys in France offer excellent lunch for weary skiers.


Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and Mottaret are three popular resorts that add excitement to your sky visit to The Three Valleys in France. Most of the resorts in the Three Valleys offer skidoos, snowshoeing, ice skating, indoor swimming pools, tobogganing, and parapenting. It is a beautiful area for winter walks and there are 110kms of cross country skiing trails.

Val Thorens resort of The Three Valleys is the highest resort in Europe is at 2,300m and has more than 50,000 guest beds. Spring skiing is very popular here, and the glacier at Val Thorens ensures good snow and plenty of sunshine. Val Thorens is a favorite with serious skiers and boarders, who come for the fantastic snow conditions and the vast selection of intermediate and expert terrain.


Courchevel is the ski resort to the east of the Three Valleys and it has four centers at different altitudes, the majority of the runs are north facing providing excellent snow conditions. The Courchevel ski area, with 63 ski-lifts, and 117 downhill skiing runs with an amassed length of 150 km, assures quality snow cover and the skiing of your dreams, from the beginning to the end of the season. Beginners, advanced skiers, a back-country enthusiast, a family skier, or a rider, the Courchevel ski resort offers the skiing experience for everyone.

Meribel is considered the best resort among all. It is situated right in the heart of the Three Valleys having exceptional charm, dazzling views and miles of skiing. All the buildings in the town are constructed in the conventional Savoyarde style from wood and stone, making Méribel one of the most attractive ski resorts in The Three Valleys in France. Meribel Valley runs from north to south, meaning skiers can make the most of optimum conditions and follow the sun all day. The resort is home to 2 snow parks, one in Meribel and the other higher up in Mottaret, with ample facilities for boarders

La Tania sky resort is part of the Three Valleys Ski Area with access to 600km of downhill skiing, with 573 individual pistes, served by 200 ski lifts. La Tania is a relatively small ski resort with excellent facilities and apart from La Tania itself the ski lift pass allows you to ski in the other Three Valleys ski resorts of Courchevel, Les Menuires, Méribel, Saint Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens. La Tania is a perfect ski resort for families offering excellent skiing and facilities at very reasonable prices.
