More and more real estate professionals today are rushing to set-up their website. But does a website really make sense for your real estate business? Facts speak for themselves. Web presence can give you that competitive edge over a company who does not have a Web site. A Web site is a much better investment than a yellow pages ad, providing more information and greater reach for far less money.


The statistics says that 33% of all Internet searches are local customers looking for local businesses! Your business provides services to local residents therefore you need your own website to be found by those local customers searching for local businesses via the Internet, all major Internet search engines now have a local search feature which allows customers to find local businesses.


Having your own website allows you to display your property listings and photos from your website directly to customers 24 hours a day 7 days a week, even when you're out of the office or sleeping you will be generating leads.


But you should keep in mind that having just a static site is not enough to generate leads. If you want your web site to do more than just impress your listing prospects and sellers, you need to concentrate on the content of the site from the perspective of the site visitor. The site needs to provide information and resources that potential buyers and sellers want to see.Another important factor is real estate web site design.


The Real Estate business is truly unique in the sense that most people will only engage in it once or twice in their entire life. And since purchasing property is such a complicated matter, Real Estate businesses have laboriously pursued every means to make this transaction as easy, and as informative as possible.
