If you compare MLM to a franchise the start up costs are ridiculously cheap. You can expect to spend several thousand, or even millions, to start a franchise.
So think about that. Let's say you start a McDonald's franchise. You will spend over $1 Million dollars to get started. Most people do not have that kind of money or even that kind of credit to qualify for a start up loan. The ones that do almost always succeed because they bust their butt until they are profitable.
2. People fail in MLM, not the other way around. MLM does not fail them. Why are some people successful in anything in life and others are not. Most people do not have the personal development skills to be a success in an MLM business and therefore they fail.
3. Because most people work their MLM business part time they do not take it seriously. A person will get and go to work 40 hours a week for themselves and will not put a consistent effort into building their own MLM business. If you do not work you will not succeed.

The way to make money and a lot of it is to build a large down line. Most people who join a MLM opportunity do not even sponsor one person and therefore their business is destined to fail.
