Steve was a dedicated Postal worker who had been on the job for over 15 years. He'd never been late a day since he began his job at the local post office. While some co-workers would often get involved with the day to day chat and gossip, he never allowed any outside influences to affect his work performance. He always kept his mission straight forward and focused, just as he'd planned since he clocked in the first day.

After all, his job was very secure, and the last thing he was thinking about was losing his well-earned ticket to a happy retirement. There's no way he was going to allow any social distractions around him to endanger his pride and joy.

At home, everything was great. He had a beautiful wife and a young son. His wife was extremely proud of him, and things were going so well that they decided to have another child. Not only were things going well financially, but they had just purchased a brand new house. Although it took them years to save up the money to buy it, all of that was behind them now, as life was very good.

Steve worked very long & hard so that his family could get into this position, and even though he had a long job history, they didn't have the best credit because of various reasons. When applying for the loan to purchase their new home, they did some homework and wanted to make sure they made the best decision before sealing the deal. He and his wife received an adjustable rate loan, which wasn't the best possible loan for new homeowners. However, times were good, his job was steady, and they really weren't concerned about the interest rates going up any time soon.

Also, they were prepared for the worse case scenario. If anything did cause the interest rate to rise, they had sufficientsavings to rely on. The family was also told that just because the rate was an adjustable one, that did not mean it wouldnecessarily rise through the roof. The lender advised them to feel good about their decision because there were variousoptions a family like theirs had if they ever found themselves between a rock and a hard place. Confident in their calcu-lated decision, they made the good house they bought into a great home.
