Leather is obviously not going to be ideal for wearing directly next to the skin so it's uses as a material for lingerie are fairly limited. It is however a great fabric for wearing as outer garments and has retained it's popularity for centuries. So a leather corset makes a super fashion top for clubbing and nights out on the town with the girls

O.K. so a leather corset may not be everyone's idea of hot fashion but corsets of all kinds do have a huge following. Corsets make either great sexy lingerie or even stunning and sophisticated outerwear which is where the leather corset will come into it's own too.

If you are looking to wear a corset purely as lingerie then you would be much better off with something in smooth shinny satin or even pure silk. A leather corset wouldn't look too good under your clothes and it wouldn't be too comfortable on a hot day either but let's not go there hey.

If you really are mad keen for a leather corset the best place to find one is on the internet. The online fashion and lingerie shops will be full of corsets in all kinds of sexy fabrics. So log on and take a look because if you can't find a leather corset there the chances are you aren't going to find one anywhere else either

The bottom line is that if you want comfort you won't be wearing a leather corset under your favorite party frock or silky ball gown. The genuine article in satin and lace is going to be a much better option there and you won't have to wear your lingerie outside of your clothes either.

Wearing a tight corset for a prolonged period of time is not really a great idea. They are beautiful items of lingerie that you can wear under a smooth satin gown or even your wedding dress but you wouldn't want to wear a tight corset for too long. Unfortunately there is a school of though that is still into the old custom of wearing tight corsets for long periods of time.

The whole practice of wearing a tight corset originated a few hundred years ago when women decided that they wanted to be thin in the middle, thick at the top and even thicker at the bottom. This was actually called the hour glass figure and women suffered long hours in a tight corset to obtain this shape.

The problem with this kind of tight corset wearing practice is was and is that you are forcing the body into an unnatural state. In younger women the whole rib cage was constricted over a period of time and some damage to the internal organs would have been common place. Thankfully only a small group of nutters still think that wearing a tight corset is a great idea.

Some girls are even wearing silky satin corsets as outerwear for parties or nights out and they do look fantastic. It's kind of like wearing just your lingerie and nothing else to go out in. Well you won't hear to many men complaining about that idea girls so party on but avoid the tight corset.

So should you really want a body that looks as though it might snap in the middle at any minute the tight corset could be the way to go. If however you were blessed with a little more common sense corsets are a great way to enhance your figure.
