The nutritional supplement industry is challenged only by the cosmetics industry in three key areas: the consistency with which its products fail, their consumers' ability to forget, and the buyers' need to believe in the next magic pill, lotion or potion. Consumer lack of education and misleading marketing ploys contribute to a 5 billion dollar per year industry where minimal to no gains are made from many of the supplements as touted. Most, if not all, industry has a degree of disinformation, embellishment, or misleading verbiage in its marketing approach. Many industries are full of con artists, but the nutritional supplement industry is the undisputed king of the hill. We have snake oils galore alluding to have anabolic steroid like effects of making your muscles grow huge over night and turning you into the chick magnet, of your delusions. We have moronic, smiling Bob insinuating that by taking his pills you will become a human tripod. The unethical greed of these purveyors combined with no lack of ignorant, insecure men and women looking for an edge in enhancing their masculinity or femininity. These groups don't really need to be conned; they're very much ready and willing to be deceived.

Let’s get some facts on the table: Outside of health decimating, illegal anabolic chemicals only by providing correct, progressive training stimulus paired with providing the body adequate and precise nutritional intake can you grow muscle. Doing it naturally will be gradual not overnight but it will stick as opposed to the temporary gains of drugs. Human tripods are born not made. Forget about enhancing your package and start thinking about enhancing your health and fitness which will increase your overall physicality. The most unfortunate response to theses mythical bodybuilding quick fixes, augmentation claims and beauty secrets is to put all nutritional supplementation into the snake oil category. This is a tragedy as there are supplements that can do the body much good. While bodybuilding supplements are marketed as pseudo-drugs that will build a quick imposing physique health enhancing supplements help the body to attain and maintain optimal levels of nutrients to ensure a well tuned body and help defend against negative environmental exposure.

Remember that all of these products are supplements to a needed foundation of wholesome, balanced food intake, hydration, exercise and sleep. Outside of a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement implement the above before you get lost in the fat loss/performance product maze. It is exceptionally difficult to maintain an optimal intake of nutritional levels from food alone so a quality produced vitamin mineral supplement would be a wise investment. Add meal replacements and protein powders as needed to support workouts and provide convenience in consuming 5-6 meals per day. After this is your routine you are now ready to consult an expert or do your own educational research into what you can add next for what objective and which brand is best.

Hot Supplement Tips: Creatine is effective and safe if used as directed, while Enzyte, NO2 and Glutamine are minimally to non-effective as marketed. .
