Samsung E900 – Discover the new touch therapy!

When it comes to slider phones, nothing seems as good as a Samsung mobile. Samsung E900 is one such slider device that has enjoyed the applause of many, due to its sheer looks and neat ergonomics. Taking a twist from its usual sliders, Samsung E900 comes with a seamless front section. This might display a close resemblance with that of LG chocolate, but Samsung E900 scores high with additional features such as - a speaker phone, a 2-megapixel camera and a slot for a microSD memory card.

In terms of design, one of the innovation that Samsung E900 comes with is its touch pad. The feature is extremely responsive and glows with a subtle light when activated. An interesting thing about touch pad is that when it is in use, it displays two soft keys at the top (for accessing Menu and Contacts), and the send and end call keys at the bottom. Only when one activates the Mp3 player, three more buttons come into the picture. The only key that does not respond to touch, is the navigation key. The introduction of mechanical navigation key helps provide tactile feedback and is better to use. A large high resolution screen occupies most of the external area. The screen can display up to 262,000 colours. Further on sides there are dedicated keys for music and camera.

On the back of the Samsung E900 is a 2 Megapixels camera. It comes close with a flash and a large portrait mirror. The alpha- numeric keys are large, but thee is a slight lack of space.

Feature wise the Samsung E900 is quite enriched. It comes with a Bluetooth, EDGE, USB, along with Tri-band network. The handset also has an integrated WAP 2.0 and GPRS for ease of connectivity. The music player is compatible with all popular formats, while host of games are offered for that extra doze of entertainment.

The Samsung E900 measures 93 x 45 x 16.5 mm, weighing 93 g. It comes with a 80 MB memory, which can be further expanded.
