Is there anybody in the world today that is truly completely satisfied with his or her sex lives? I really don’t think I have heard anyone say to me that they are. With the way we live our lives today is such a fast paced and changing environment, some things just can’t always keep up with our expectations. When we can fit it in, we are constantly trying to find that extra something to add to our sex lives to make it bigger and better. Fantasies are played out, toys are used, lingerie and costumes are added in, swinging, different locations and even drugs are used to spice things up.
Drugs can be a huge problem due to the effects they have. Everybody responds to different substances in a very different way. Just say you and your partner made the decision to take something you’ve both never tried before. Are you sure you know how it’s going to affect each other? Maybe one of you is going to have a great reaction and be horny as hell while your partner is in the corner somewhere chasing away the cats they think are surrounding them and trying to get them. I honestly don’t think that would make for an exciting and sensual evening. Why don’t we break it down and take a look at some different drugs and the affects they have on sex.

Stimulants of the nervous system like cocaine and amphetamines are taken for the rush they give you. They can also make you feel incredibly horny too but there is a problem here since in most cases, you may want it like no tomorrow but you can’t perform. Even though your brain is extremely active there is nothing going on down in your pants. Even if you manage to get things happening a bit, chances are you are not going to be able to reach orgasm no matter what. You might be thinking “whoohoo! I can keep going for hours like the champion I am,” but chaffing of the intimate areas can be quite painful if you’ve ever experienced it. If you haven’t, then count yourself lucky and avoid any situation that might put you at risk of getting it.

Hallucinogens like LSD or magic mushrooms and sex should never be used in the same sentence. These types of drugs have way too unpredictable affects to be even considered used in the bedroom. Although most of these types of drugs aren’t totally known for their addictive qualities, they are well known for the hallucinations and violent mood swings they can bestow on their users. Again there is nothing they will do to enhance your sex life.
Drugs containing MDMA such as ecstasy may make you feel like the happiest person on the planet, and everything “feel good,’ but again you probably won’t find sexual satisfaction whilst on this dug. They do give you heightened senses and awareness, but that’s about all just like the above-mentioned drugs. MDMA is usually mixed with other drugs such as heroine, cocaine or speed to boost its affects, so while you are happily wandering around spreading the love, you definitely won’t be making it.
I think you can see the pattern forming here. If you like to “chase the dragon” or shoot up some heroine or morphine, you should expect the same thing again, little to no erection or orgasm. These types of drugs are designed to mellow you out and the high you experience is a little more of a personal experience rather than involving other people.
The one thing all illicit drugs have in common though is the loss of inhibitions whilst being in an altered state of mind. This sounds like an optimum time to be experimenting in the bedroom, but as you have learned, it is well and truly one of the worst times. This is not a rant to make you stop taking drugs, but more just a little something to think about when considering having sex whilst under the influence. Everybody has a choice.
