5. Work out hard and then give your body time to recover. Push yourself hard to do more than you think possible. Increase your weight and reps until your muscles are to tired to move. Then take time off between workouts. Many people do not build muscle mass because they over work and do not rest. The best way to build muscle mass is to combine hard workouts with needed rest.

You need to know how many calories you are taking in per day. If you are already at 2000 them increase that to 3000 for only 3 days and no more. This will help increase muscle growth and muscle mass.
