A lot of people who try Internet marketing or Internet network marketing get all fired up and excited at the beginning. And that’s great. They learn what they have to learn about the product, and then plan to start marketing.
At this point, a lot of people don’t take any action and so their temporary failure is immediate. Others actually take action. You start setting up your website and you start to carry out your traffic generation strategies.
You see other people doing Internet network marketing and being very successful at it. So you tell yourself that if others can do it, so can you. And so you start out with your Internet marketing strategies.
Maybe you have not been marketing that regularly and only doing it on and off during your free time. After a few weeks, you start thinking that you’re not getting the traffic and the results you want.
So are you going to start thinking to yourself that others can do it, but you cant or you’re just not as skillful as others?
Before you even think this way, ask yourself whether you have really done what others have done.
If they have had the discipline to wake up earlier to do their Internet network marketing, or skipping leisure time, or really making sure they do those 10 daily marketing things they need to do every single day without fail, have you done that and done it to the same extent?
If your answer is yes, then you need to seek help. If not, don’t waste your time or your thoughts telling yourself this is not for you. Instead, spend this time and these thoughts on doing what other successful people are doing. Catch up with their momentum.
If they are doing those 10 marketing things everyday, you have to start building your momentum too. You may not start out with doing all 10 things a day. You may start with doing 4 things and day and building up till you reach 10 things a day.
So the real lesson is this:
Do not question yourself about your achievement or your results or whether this is for you until you reach that standard of commitment and discipline that the successful Internet marketers have.
Only when you have done all the things that successful marketers do and you have done it to the same extent with the same commitment, then you can start thinking of whether you have gotten the results you want.
Chances are, you would’ve started seeing some results.
