Auto Bild, the largest German car magazine has honored the Japanese car maker Mazda as the first in its highly respected “Quality Report” for 2007 with results published on June 8. For the third consecutive year, Mazda has been awarded the first place in this yearly report.
Like the case of the past two reports, the quality of Mazda was prevalently stunning in all aspects of the survey. Very strong positive results were attained in categories on long-term quality both on the TUV report and on the Auto Bild’s 100,000 kilometer Endurance Test. Under the Germany’s Technische Uberwachung Verein (TUV) report, roadworthiness is inspected for cars that are two and three years old. During the Endurance Test, the new Mazda5 was currently in the middle part of the test with no breakdowns.
As to the owner survey for low repair frequency and high body build quality, the Japanese car maker also got a high score. In effect, Mazda was able to improve its 2006’s excellent result.
This year’s report reflects customer satisfaction and warranty performance that were assured since then by the car maker. For the third time, the traditional strengths of Mazda models were once again proven excellent.
Dan Morris, Mazda’s Senior Managing Executive Officer in Charge of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service, said that they were definitely honored that this year, Mazda was the chosen winner of Auto Bild’s Quality Report for three consecutive years. He added that the prestigious award is in recognition of the quality of the design and production installed into every Mazda vehicle. Furthermore, he said that the award gave the car company more confidence as they move forward with their planned strategies to bring even greater levels of quality in all aspects of the Mazda Zoom-Zoom car owning experience.
The Japanese car company reiterates that the quality they make is for their customers around the world.
