The friendly and cultured land of Morocco offers the traveller such a varied selection of sights and activities that you will be spoilt for choice. For those seeking a relaxing vacation away from the stress and demands of modern day living then a vacation at one of the beautiful beach resorts on the coast of Morocco could be the remedy you are after. Or for those culture seekers, then Morocco has a varied choice of unsurpassed museums and ancient monuments that you can soak up all the culture you can take.

At most key resorts during your stay in Morocco there will be organised and scheduled tours to the best attractions throughout the land. Tours range in price and frequency so it is always advisable to contact your tour operator before departure or ask a representative at your resort when you arrive. Most of the organised tours are very popular so make sure you get in there quick and book a place early.

There will be a diverse selection of places for you to visit including an excursion to ancient medina’s, cultural tours, camel trekking through the Sahara desert or visiting one of the museums. What ever takes your fancy, you can be sure to find what you are looking for in Morocco.

One of the most visited locations in Morocco has to be the spiritual scene of Marabout. Only a short distance away from Casa, is the magnificent setting of Marabout. Situated on a rocky island which can only be accessed when the tide is at its lowest, rests the Marabout de sidi Abderrahamane koubba. This attraction has been visited year after year by the sick and infirm who believe that the holy man found here had extraordinary powers and could perform miraculous miracles. This is a magnificent sight to witness and even for those not looking for a cure or miracle, then this is a truly wonderful sight.

One of the main attractions to Morocco has to be the many sensational sandy beaches found along the coast. There are several stunning Atlantic beaches to be found west of Tangier for those seeking a retreat from the bustling activity of the city. Although most town resorts will have small beaches located on the premises, you can not compare those to the likes of the coastal beaches. The attractive setting of these beaches make for a picture postcard, with mountains stretching on all sides surrounding clean crystal waters and white sandy beaches. All of these beaches have essential amenities and local restaurants rear by.

The cuisine of Morocco is renown throughout the world. People travel far and wide to taste the true delights of Morocco. The herbs and spices mingled together with the vibrancy of Morocco make the cuisine here a treat to be savoured. The best places to experience the scrumptious Moroccan food are at the local restaurants rather than the main resorts.

What ever brings you to the magnificent land of Morocco, you are sure to have a great time here. The people, culture and climate make Morocco an ideal destination for any traveler.
