Not getting many conversions but constantly sending out emails to a mile-long list? Well, the problem may lie in your relationship with these individuals. Perhaps you are not keeping close enough contact with your subscribers. Could you be offering a niche product or service...are your emails niche oriented enough? Possibly you're just sending too many messages and bugging them.

It’s easy to enhance your relationship with your members by starting to interact with them. Start by using tested methods internet marketing gurus such as Charlie Page, Shawn Casey, Perry Marshall and Joe Vitale use. There are many others with great methods and ideas pertaining to this topic. As I have mentioned in other articles, subscribe to their newsletters. These guys have tested tried and true techniques allowing them to earn high incomes.

Ok, you want to send out messages that cause your readers to respond to your offers. If the message requires them to take action you can begin with asking their opinion. Start out by sending out a questionnaire asking them what they want and what’s important to them. Get their feedback on the services and/or products you are providing them with. Ask for permission to publish testimonials. Enabling your readers to see their questions or testimonials on your website.

Make certain that you’re asking poignant questions. Be sure to answer any question they might have truthfully. By giving them concise and factual answers you show just how professional and knowledgeable you are. If you began asking your subscribers for their thoughts and opinions they will eventually donate them freely. Now you are on the road to acquiring their trust.

After consulting a few of the experts advice letters I discovered that I’d been asking my readers unnecessarily long questions. Surveys shouldn’t contain essay type questions, and a survey should take about 30 seconds to complete. People prefer multiple choice questions which are much easier to answer. It’s important to let your subscribers know that their survey information will be confidential. Lastly, remember to make the survey fun and interesting.

A wonderful way to get a response is by having some kind of contest or by giving something away for free. Like after filling out your survey they receive a free eBook. This is exactly how I promoted my first eBook. Initially I sold next to nothing, but after offering them free tips and a free mini-eBook I got them to sign up for my newsletter and started making some sales. Use this method for gathering stats on them and getting your questions answered.
