The Nokia 5070 is a sharp looking mobile phone in a compact casing. This sleek handset with easy to use functions is highly affordable and do not put much pressure on your pocket. The Nokia 5070 comes in a well designed casing which measures 105.4 x 44.3 x 18.6 mm. Petite dimension and light weight of mere 88 grams makes the Nokia 5070 very comfortable to carry in any pocket. The handset is available in two colour solutions – Red and Blue. The front fascia is dominated by the 65k colured CSTN screen and a silver coloured tactile number pad.

A 5-way navigation pad, dedicated call keys and a pair of soft keys sums up the remaining elements on the 'face' of the handset. The Nokia 5070 is loaded with all important functions that are needed by a modern day mobile user. Absence of fancy tools and applications that are hardly used makes the user interface clutter free, thus making it very easy to use. The handset supports triband GSM mobile network and changes its band automatically. This equates to seamless voice network coverage in more than a hundred countries across five continents without ever having to think of changing the phone's network settings.

The Nokia 5070 uses its embedded class 10 GPRS and class 6 EDGE technology to provide its user with fast data connectivity. Under optimum condition, the handset is capable of achieving data speed of up to 177.6 kbps. You can surf the Internet with its built in WAP 2.0/xHTML browser or send emails and Instant Message. Integrated camera module of the Nokia 5070 is capable of capturing stills in up to 640 x 480 pixel resolution. A VGA camera may not sound much in this age of multi megapixel ones, but it does its job well. Sharing special moments instantly with your near and dear ones via MMS or email is only a matter of a few key presses on the Nokia 5070.
