Remember you do have time. So it’s important to set up your site for a couple of months and keep close track of your traffic. Once you have determined where most of your sales are coming from you can then go to your parent company and ask their advice on how you should proceed. Remember if you are making money then they are to so they are going to want to help you set up your next plan of action.
2. Be Serious
By talking to your parent company you are sending them a clear signal that you are serious and that you want to be successful. These people will really take note and they will put an extra effort into taking the time to help you. It will in all honesty be like having a team of associates.
3. Keep In Contact
By keeping in contact with your parent company then you are keeping updated on any changes to the company. We know there are always product changes, price changes and shipping rules change. By knowing this you can keep your website updated accordingly. If you really want to upset a potential customer just give them false information. Something like telling them that shipping is free and then it actually turns out that shipping isn’t free any more. That customer will be lost forever.
If you continue to respect your customer base with little things such as updates then they will reward you big time in the long run. So go ahead and use your parent company. That’s what they are there for. Now if for some reason your parent company doesn’t seem to want to help you then maybe its time to go else where. There are hundreds if not thousands of companies who want to go that extra mile in order to help you succeed.
