The New Product Development (NPD) process includes conceptualizing, formulating and delivering new product in a company. Every new product is based on the results of the market research. Market research provides a definite and well-drawn path for the new product that has to be launched.

It’s the marketing managers who formulate the marketing strategy for NPD. Marketing managers take help from subordinates, product development managers and market research managers in order to predict the demand for the product and services proffered by the company. They also provide you with information on your competitors, their products and pricing.

These managers also help the client companies to identify opportunities and potential markets (wholesalers, government, market research firms or general public). These market research managers develop the pricing strategy in such a way that it brings maximum profit for the client company. They have to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

They study the market and observe if there is a need for a new product or service. Accordingly, they inform their clients and work towards the development of the new product. Marketing managers work with promotion and advertising managers in order to promote the company’s products and services to attract maximum customers towards the product.

The two things that are most essential while developing a market for a new product are Modeling and Perfection. Before launching a new product, you have to ensure that it will do well in the market and that the customers will readily accept it. Don’t hesitate to make any necessary changes (if required) in the product. If possible, distribute a few sample products so that you can exactly know how the product will perform once it is launched in the market.

In the manufacturing stage, you look for manufacturers to manufacture your product. At the time of getting bids, ensure that the company can cope with deadlines and can also pay for the production expenditures. Be very sure that the company has a deadline time and holds a good reputation when it comes to meeting deadlines.

Market research companies adopt this for the successful launch of new products in the market.
