I have seen countless of time that affiliates who make sales in promoting my products are those who spend their time and money to drive traffic to my sites.
Now I know you might say it is very expensive to drive a lot of traffic to a site but let me tell you this, targeted traffic is the “blood life” of your commission.
No "targeted traffic" no money Period
Now take a mental note that I said "targeted traffic" not just any traffic. If you are promoting Internet marketing products it will make no sense when most of your traffic is coming from gaming sites.
So when you do an adwords campaign you have to take your time to do keyword research well.
You have to put yourself in your visitor's mind. Imagine you are a regular surfer who is just looking for some information on the net. You then stumble on a google adwords campaign, what kind of words will get your attention and make you click on the ad?
The really trick here is to think of yourself as the one looking for the information not as a marketer who just want to make money, I’ve learned the hard way that if I just want to make money, I wont succeed but if my priority is to give value first, money will (always) follow.
It surprises me when I do something for just helping and four or five months later I found I’ve made some cash.
Once you get all your keywords on a system you have to set your ad for the most amount of money you are willing to spend. Don’t be stingy by spending only $10 a day, it won’t work. You have to roll out with something like $500 per day and this is when you are really broke.
If you can’t afford $500 per day find a day job just for funding your adwords campaign. Work for a month or two and when you have enough to invest, quit.
If your campaigns don’t work move one to another niche, remember this is not a destination, it is a process. If you loose, we don’t call it a lose, it is a lesson, move one to something better, don’t complain and feel pathetic just take it as a lesson.
