Three different phases to a giveaway can be used to harness list building effectively. You can join that giveaway as a member. Second, you can join as a joint venture partner in that you donate a gift so people will subscribe to your list. Or you can also do the giveaway as the owner of the giveaway where you get everyone.

Becoming a regular member of a giveaway is a great way to build a very powerful list of joint venture partners. And I’m going to tell you how to build a list of joint venture partners by going to a giveaway. Most people don’t use giveaways the way they’re supposed to. They go there to get stuff.

When you do subscribe, you aim to get a list of joint venture partners. All of these JV partners that have signed up to give things away have 2 things in common. They all have a list so you would know they have a group of people that you want to get on to your list and they all want to add more people to their list.


Having viewed that, you will see that it makes them a prime candidate for wanting to, possibly, participate in your giveaway because they still want to add even more members to their list. This is what you are going to use for your full benefit.

Now, a lot people who go to a giveaway would be inclined to give a bogus email address so they don’t have to contend with all the emails that they’re going to start getting when they join all of these people’s lists. This is a bad practice you need to work around with so you get genuine email addresses where you can sell.

Now, download as many products as you can because many of them come with resell rights and one of the things you have to realize is that when people go to these giveaways they would say “Why would I want to sell something that people are giving away?”


Many people don’t see these giveaways. The individuals who use these products and sell them is very little. They just don’t take advantage of the opportunity that they’re given to resell products with resell rights that you get because a lot of them come in the giveaways with resell rights.

So there’s not that much competition if you want to go out and develop some of these products and I think you’ll find that a lot of them are coming with private label rights. You can actually do things with them and change them and make them your own product too.

Canned Spam Act requires that all commercial emails have the name and mailing address of the person sending the email. So now, if you have no other way to contact this person, you can also send them a letter or postcard, something to try to get some kind of contact information. Begin by asking them a catchy question.

When you save your capture pages or any of the other pages that you go to on their site, look for contact information because you want to put this in their spreadsheet so you can contact them. Use the URL lookup on whois.com to try to find contact information.

Contact these people and get them when you have your giveaway ready that you can have people all ready to sign-up as JV partners into your giveaway because you don’t have to have any list at all to start this particular strategy. You’re going to build, first, your JV partner list by going to another giveaway.

Also, go to as many newsletter directories or Ezine directories as you can go to. In there, they have contact information and you can also present your JV proposal to these people. They also want to build their lists because they’re publishers and they want more people on their lists too.

Don’t just contact a few Ezines because you only get about a 10% response back from these people. It may take you a month or two to do this but you can build a pretty sizeable list depending on how hard you want to work.
